Shockingly, the chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has revealed a disturbing truth: the police themselves handed the woman over to her predators.
On August 12, 2022, communal violence erupted in Manipur's Tamenglong district. During the chaos, a 23-year-old Kuki woman was brutally attacked by a mob. She was stripped naked, beaten with sticks and stones, and paraded through the streets.
