Today marked a significant milestone as Jankalyan Trust Mahad, an organization dedicated to the advancement of the Adivasi community in Raigad, celebrated its silver jubilee. To honor this occasion, a vibrant dance and singing competition was held, radiating joy and enthusiasm throughout the gathering.
The esteemed presence of His Highness Archbishop of Bombay, Oswald Gracias, as the chief guest added a touch of grandeur to the event. Beginning with a heartfelt sermon during mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, Archbishop Gracias inspired the audience with his words of wisdom and grace.
Silver Jubilee Special MassThe event also witnessed the gracious presence of prominent political figures, including Maharashtra's Minister of Employment Guarantee and Horticulture, Bharat Gogawale. Minister Gogawale delivered a poignant speech, highlighting the commendable efforts of Jankalyan Trust during the devastating floods and landslides of 2005. The trust's swift and effective rehabilitation work during that challenging period garnered well-deserved praise.
