Dear friends,
I was in the Leprosy Mission Trust of India for 14 years as a paramedic; I resigned on 31 December 2002 and now work independently in Raigad district for orphans, adiwasis, and other needy individuals. I was able to start this work with the small amount from my VRS savings.
A few friends of mine have extended their helping hands in this venture, and now, I kindly request you to join the campaign. Your generous help will save the lives of several deprived children in this district.
The VISION of my service is to create a brave new world, just, free from prejudice, healthy, equitable, a place with change and continuity, modernity, and tradition, enquiry and faith where the domestic and foreign, material and spiritual, secular and religious co-exist in harmony. For such a world to come into fruition, the people will have to be empowered to overcome political barriers, to get rid of gender and economical inequality.
As you see, the world is full of hatred, violence, and selfishness. Few dare to care for others. If we shape the life of children today, they will shape our tomorrow.
There are many talented and promising children in the rural areas, but due to poverty and lack of means, these children have been deprived from the better educational opportunities.
Through the A Better Tomorrow Children’s Sponsorship Project, initial steps have been made to meet the needs of underprivileged children. There are lot of things to be done in the days to come, your helping hands will bring smiles, hope, and happiness into the lives of many poor children.
The project aims to integrate a group of child/family and community development programs under the title of A Better Tomorrow Children’s Sponsorship Project. This project is for the poor, needy, and orphan children, especially the children of HIV/AIDS victims. The project also aims to reach remote villages and hamlets. The programs provide psychosocial support, self-employment, education, and counseling/medical care.
We would be very grateful if you volunteer becoming co-partners in bringing & shaping their future by sponsoring under privilege children.
