The heavy rain and flood along with landslides across Raigad of Konkan region and western maharashtra adversely affected the lives of thousands of families and businesses in urban and rural set up in the state.
Loss is huge and rehabilitation is urgently needed to compensate the affected people. of the flood-prone districts
Government agencies are surveying, political leaders are touring the flood-stricken area, and visiting the affected families but financial assistance from the government administration is still in the process of the political disputed basket.
Help and aids are flooding from NGOs and political party individual leaders and humanitarian relief agencies extending their helping hands to comfort the affected families in the form of foods stuff and grocery.
This kind of timely help is urgently needed to maintain the flood-stricken family's daily needs but long terms planning to have their rehabilitation in a stipulated time is also needed to continue their businesses and resume their work to support their families.
During pandemics, only regulations and rules for maintaining social distance, wearing masks, and washing and sanitising hands, stay at home were the top agendas of government.
